Solomon's prayer of dedication

In 2 Chronicles 6:12-42 we read how Solomon bowed before God and dedicated his land and people to God. Solomon asked God to hear their prayer for a variety of things e.g. crime (v22), enemy attacks (v24), drought (v26), famine (v28), the influx of foreigners (v32), war (v34) and sin (v36).

God is concerned with whatever we face. Even in difficult consequences we bring on ourselves, He wants us to turn to him in prayer. Don't let the extremety of your situation cause you to doubt his care for you.
