In Christ we have peace
In his letter to the church in Phillipi, Paul wrote "6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Phil 4:6-7, NKJV). He was in the prison at the time of writing this letter.
True peace is not found in positive thinking, in absence of conflict or in good feelings. It comes from knowing that God is in control. We are are children of God and our destiny is set. Let God 's peace guard your heart against anxiety.
Today I pray that you will have this peace in your heart, which surpasses all human understanding.
