In Christ you have freedom

Galatians 5:1 says: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."

Christ died to set us free from a long list of laws and regulations, but not to do whatever we want, because that would lead us back into slavery. In stead we are now free and able to do what was impossible before - to live unselfishly.
