VERSTERKING VAN GEBEDSALTAAR BY UNIEGEBOUE 5 JANUARIE 2012: 18H00

Vir aandag: alle gelowiges met ‘n hart vir Suid Afrika. Die ANC vier hulle 100-jarige bestaan die naweek van 6 – 8 Januarie reg oor die land. Alhoewel ons die ANC as leiers van ons land eer, sal ons ernstig intree vir die volgende gebeurtenis wat as de...el van die feesvieringe geskeduleer is: The evening of the 6th January 2012, the ANC will then host an interfaith night vigil to invoke the spirits of all our founding fathers and mothers of our movement. This very important event will be attended by Kings, Chiefs and Traditional Leaders and healers will also include the leaders of the African National Congress and our allied partners. Omdat dit impliseer dat ons land aan die voorvaders opgedra word en offers daarvoor sal plaasvind, het Ps. Kenneth Meshoe (ACDP), Jericho Mure en Turn2God ‘n oproep gedoen tot gelowiges om die 5de Januarie, die aand 18h00, by die Uniegeboue bymekaar te kom om die gebedsaltaar wat reeds die 3rde November vir ons land opgerig is, te versterk. Die gelowiges in ons stad is die priesters, profete en konings wat die reg in die naam van Jesus Christus het om na die genadetroon te gaan en te gaan intree vir hierdie naweek en dus ook vir ons land en ons toekoms.

Prayer for the ANC that celebrate their centenary during 2012:

Holy Spirit help us to pray according to God's perfect will.

Specific Prayer points:
1. For the ANC leadership to acknowledge the supreme authority of God, the Father ofr our Lord Jesus Christ.
2. That the ANC as political power will make decisions that will honour God, the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.
3. That nobody will misuse the ANC as organisation or political instrument to enrich themselves, to abuse power or use their positions for corruption or selfish benefit.
4. That God will appoint leadership that will lead through truth and justice, who will acknowledge the authority of God’s Word, the Bible, who will live with integrity and carry the interest of the people of South Africa in their hearts.
5. That the ANC leadership will respect and honour the justice system in our country and provide decisive leadership over this issue.
6. That the ANC will not allow bitterness over the past to dictate their actions, but will provide strong positive leadership for reconciliation and co-operation in our nation.
7. That the ANC, as ruling political party, will use great wisdom to appoint people to serve the country in senior and key positions.
